I have to admit the combination sounded frightening but I LOVE it!
What a unique flavor combination! It’s absolutely fabulous! The chocolate is superb, with a bright note from the tomato & hint of anise. Love it!
I tried the tomato anise flavor because, why not? I've liked all the other flavors I've tried from Antidote, and I was placing an order for some of my favorites. I recognize the anise, but I don't know if I'd know the second flavor was tomato if I didn't already know. It really works, and I will be ordering more of it.
Had no idea what to expect with these unique flavors, but WOW--so rich and satisfying! The tomato adds depth without being vegetal, and the anis is beautiful--sweet, mildly spicy, and aromatic. Definitely would buy again for individual indulgence or as a cool complement to my next cheese board!
